What is an information processing support organization (Smart SME Supporter)?
In order to improve the productivity and strengthen the management base of small and medium-sized enterprises, a partial amendment to the Small and Medium Enterprise Management Strengthening Act was enacted on July 9, 2018, and this system certifies IT vendors, etc. that support the use of IT by small and medium-sized enterprises as information processing support organizations.
By certifying IT vendors that provide IT tools contributing to improving the productivity of SMEs as information processing support organizations, the government will encourage the development of IT tools that are easy for SMEs to use, and will establish a system for disclosing information necessary for SMEs to select IT vendors and IT tools.
